JCFPD, WFD train together

The Warrensburg Fire Department and the Johnson County Fire Protection District collaborate to train Monday night, Oct. 14, using the WFD hydraulic ladder truck at the JCFPD station, 122 W. Young St. Rusty Bond of the WFD said this was the first time the JCFPD has trained with the hydraulic ladder and that the need for this training became apparent after the JCFPD called for mutual aid from the WFD to use the hydraulic ladder during a fire July 30 at Fairview Mills in Centerview. The ladder was extended and collapsed several times by those training with some firefighters climbing the length of the extended ladder.
