WARRENSBURG — Warrensburg girls soccer will look to a senior front line to improve on last season’s 5-13-1 record in the first year under head coach Bryan Olivas.

“I have some high expectations for this group,” Olivas said. “We have a good group of seniors, good group of freshmen, juniors and sophomores as well. We have good leadership from the seniors.”

Warrensburg will be without Ashley Moses, who went on to join the Central Missouri womens soccer program.

“The front line, I am counting on them because they have four years of varsity experience,” Olivas said. “They know what they are

doing.”

Olivas said he is keen on freshman goalie Jen Miller, who will step between the pipes for Warrensburg to begin the year.

“I think having a goalie in high school that knows the position is going to be very good for us,” Olivas said.

Warrensburg opens the season on March 16 on the road against Grain Valley.
