Holden outlasts Knob Noster in nine innings

Holden senior pitcher Rylie Rokusek is the 2019 All-Johnson County Baseball Player of the Year.

Holden baseball’s Rylie Rokusek is the 2019 All-Johnson County Baseball Player of the Year.

The senior was the Eagles go-to arm, compiling a 5-2-1 record on the season with 66 strikeouts to just 12 walks. In 53 2/3 innings of work, the State Fair Community College commit compiled a 1.04 ERA, allowing just 15 total runs, eight earned.

At the dish, Rolusek hit .298 with five RBIs and 15 runs scored.
