Comer, Pamela K. 1947-2019

Pamela K. Comer, 72, of Warrensburg, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg.

Pamela Kay Comer was born Jan. 14, 1947 in San Francisco, California; daughter of Clyde Charles Atkins and Betty Delores (Williams) Atkins. At the age of two, due to her fathers military career, she moved with her family to Overland Park, Kansas. She graduated from Shawnee Mission West in Overland Park. Pamela was united in marriage to Donald Lee Comer in Nov. of 1966. In 1980, the couple moved to Warrensburg. She was an artist. She was a member of Mid Missouri Artists. She was active with a local Hydrotherapy group. Pam enjoyed gardening and spending time with family. She was also an animal lover. She attended J C Cowboy Church.

Survivors include: her daughter; Tawnya (Wes) Conner of Warsaw, Missouri; son, Bradley (Michala) Comer, of Warrensburg; brother, Kenneth Atkins of Rantoul, Kansas; five grandchildren; Dani Schnakenberg, Ryan Kettenhofen, Colten Comer, Kaylee Conner and Dalton Conner; eight great grandchildren; and her companion, Earl Hoenshell.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Donald, in 2005; and her parents.

Celebration of Life Service: will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at J C Cowboy Church in Warrensburg.

Clergy: with Pastor Kevin Mannering officiating.

Visitation: the family will receive friends, from 10 a.m. until service time, Saturday at the church.

Memorial: contributions are suggested to the Warrensburg animal shelter in care of the funeral home.

Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg.
