LEETON, Mo. Floyd L. Cofer, 92, from Leeton, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019, in Liberty.

He is survived by: his wife of 68 years; two sons; one daughter; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one brother.

Floyd was born in Grand Junction, Colorado. His father was a World War I veteran. Floyd was a Coast Guard veteran. He was an electrician for the Missouri Pacific Railroad. He enjoyed camping, fishing, flying his airplane and restoring John Deere tractors. In his later years he enjoyed his life on his farm in Leeton for 30 years with his wife. Floyd will be greatly missed by his family.

A private memorial will be held with the family at a later date. As published in the Daily Star Journal.
