Tree lands on house in Holden

Strong winds that accompany a thunderstorm that sweeps through Johnson County about 4 p.m. June 12 results in a tree falling on a house near 7th and Main streets in Holden. The Holden Fire Department states it responded to the call of the downed tree about 4:56 p.m. The Holden Police Department and Street Crew also responded. No injuries were reported. Multiple storms hit Johnson County Wednesday afternoon. Johnson County Emergency Management reported multiple downed trees and power lines throughout the county.
