WARRENSBURG — Johnson County Emergency Management Agency has reported a power outage is currently impacting areas of the City of Warrensburg and surrounding locations.

The outage was first reported at 3:37 p.m., Wednesday, April 8.

Evergy estimates power to be restored by 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Evergy initially estimated five customers had been affected, but has since increased its estimate.

I guarantee it was much more than 5 people affected !! I was without from 3:10-5:50 (Approx on restored time), and my sister whom works at the VA Clinic said theirs had dropped as well. On the single hottest day of 2020 no less, and when restored I immediately hit the AC and sat directly in front of a vent, like a dog hanging it's head from a pickup window 💯😰🎵
