WARRENSBURG — The June Old Drum Open Mic is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at Java Junction, 112 N. Holden St.

Phil “The Ice Breaker” Wagner will open with two specially picked and crafted songs.

Mark Pearce will present several poems including, "Let Me Dry My Hands in Peace," "I've Gone Viral" and "Neuro-Linguistic Programming."

Andy Blackstone will sing.

Merle Course will present an original poem. Jimmy Gear will read a poem and an excerpt from an upcoming book, "Birthday Girl."

Richard Kelleher will present three poems: "War is Hell," "Prose and Conceit" and "Heavens to Murgatroyd."

Janis Russell will present poems.

Scott D. Umphrey will present a memoir, "How Did He Do it?"
