ODESSA — Johnson County athletes convened in Odessa on Wednesday, Oct. 10, for the Special Olympics track and field meet.

Athletes from Chilhowee, Crest Ridge and Holden competed in events such as the standing long jump, running long jump, 50m dash, 100m dash, softball throw, tee ball throw, 10m assisted walk and 25m assisted walk.

The athletes were not alone though as other students joined them on the track for support and

encouragement.
