Recital showcases Piano Power talent

Piano Power students from the studio of Anita Grigsby presented their annual Piano Honor Recital on May 17 at the First Christian Church. Pictured from the left, front row, Isabella Transfiguracion, Kaelyn Counts, Addison Counts and Jacob Harris; middle row, Easton Burchard, Allison Whitworth, Abigail Transfiguracion, Chloe Biesemeyer, Lilian Quigley, Breanna Derritt and Anita Grigsby; and back row, Javon Collins, Grighid Groom, Makenzie Smith and Madilyn Henchey. Burchard, Harris, Henchey and Belle Dorrell, not pictured, received their Music Federation Gold Cups. Groom and Dorrell were recognized for 700 days of consecutive practicing by the Piano Explorer’s practice challenge, Smith and Quigley for 400 days and Abigail Transfiguracion for 200 days.
