This is a free event for service members, veterans, guardsmen, reservists, and their immediate family members.  The event will be held at the Matthews-Crawford American Legion Post 131, Warrensburg, MO from 10 am to 1:30 pm on October 23, 2019.  A short presentation on the housing development GardenWalk at Magnolia Ridge will be given followed by a presentation by the Kansas City VA Medical Center's Whole Health for Life Program Team.   Resources tables will be hosted by various service minded and military/veteran-related organizations to include but not limited to: Legal Aid of Western Missouri's Veterans Relief Program, Tri-Care West Region/Health Net Federal Services, My HealtheVet, VA Whole Health for Life Program, VA Suicide Prevention Coordinator, Homes for Heroes Program, Kansas City Vet Center, Team Red, White and Blue, Workforce Development, Mid-West Joining Community Forces, Senior Benefit Services,Veterans Upward Bound Program, Military and Veteran Services, Belmont Management Company, Catholic Charities, Red Cross-Veteran Services, Camp Valor Outdoors, Inc., Matthews-Crawford American Legion Post 131, William A. Carleton VFW Post 2513, Health Care Collaborative of Central Missouri / Live Well Clinics, Vets Assist - WILS, the Center for Human Services, as well as other service providers.  Lunch will be served to the first 120 people and resource providers pre-registered to attend by October 16!   Registration is not required to attend the event; only for the luncheon as food and seating is limited.  If individuals cannot attend the full event and wish to stop by on their lunch hour to visit with resource vendors, they may do so.
